When you dream it....

A few years ago sitting at my desk, madly scoring tests and writing reports for Special Ed deadlines, I dreamed about ways I could get away from my desk, really work with kids and make a difference.... I took my first training in 2016 with Yoga Calm and the first seeds were planted. Fast forward to a teaching opportunity at Cloud 9 Art school and in the fall of 2017 I began teaching Kids Yoga classes. 2018, I earned my 200 hour Registered Yoga teacher training (RYT) and began teaching kids, teens, families and adult yoga at Yoga in the Center. In 2019 I taught classroom teacher workshops and taught at two festivals- one locally and one overseas.

It has been overwhelming, scary, but also joyful and spirit-renewing at the same time. I am so very thankful to all my teachers and mentors and also to kids and parents who have chosen to try yoga and I hope are growing to love it as much as I do. I am excited for what the rest of 2019 has to offer us!
